“SYMBOLON” Self Development Workshop
This programme addresses the question of self development and building and working as a team
This training is for the senior management team and individual department teams.
Seminar Goals
Participants will achieve the goal of understanding themselves better through utilisation of the assessment tool “Symbolon”. The course content will encourage participants to address and discuss inner questions about themselves – what drives them as people, what kind of atmosphere is important for their effectiveness, what kind of teams they prefer to work in and where in the team they prefer to be positioned. In addition they will explore how to build on their strengths (Most preferred choice), and build on the “Least preferred choice” (area of potential development) to bring about effective self and team development. The workshop result will be a working document containing the team plan for development in order to increase effectiveness.

Workshop Topics
- Using the Symbolon profile and understanding of the symbols in relation to own and team performance
- Analysing each aspect of the team to build an understanding of how to develop further
- Learning the principles of human behaviour and utilising this knowledge to communicate effectively
- To identify own personal motivators on a subconscious level
- To identify own approach to situations and why that is so
- To utilise this knowledge to develop areas of personal and team potential
- To clearly understand personal role within a team and how to affect other team members from that position
- To analyse how to apply learning to development of this and own team
- To design a personal self development plan
- Role play and feedback using video
- Practical examples, team exercises
