IFH Partners with Revenue by Design to Launch IFH UK

IFH UK launches today following a partnership between IFH, the market leader in Hospitality Management Training and Development, based in Germany, and Revenue by Design, who specialise in Revenue Management coaching for the UK hotel industry.  Established in 1989, IFH is currently expanding through joint ventures.  They now have 120 people worldwide, with IFH UK becoming their 7th office globally and the 2nd in Europe.

With impressive experience in the travel industry in sales, marketing and distribution roles within high-profile companies such as Galileo International, Sarova Hotels and TravelCLICK, partners Ally Dombey and Janel Hoskins, established Revenue by Design in 2005.  Working with prestigious international hotel groups and independent properties, they delivered measurable increases in overall revenue, at the same time gaining insight into the hotel business and additional ways in which it could improve profitability through efficiency. They quickly identified the need for a training company specialising in the unique requirements of the hospitality industry.  With 15 years experience in hospitality solutions, an A list clientele, including names such as Starwood, Peninsula and Rocco Forte, and proven track record, IFH was the perfect partner.

Janel Hoskins will assume operational responsibility of Revenue by Design and Ally Dombey becomes Managing Director IFH UK.  The company will offer a range of services designed to improve hotel sales, revenues and quality of service.
 
The new services include

  • Mystery Shopping, at property, on transient and group reservations from first call through to analysis
  • Seminars covering basic hospitality skills from housekeeping through to modern front office management
  • Management training courses to optimise sales and negotiation skills
  • and over 22 key topics of particular relevance to the UK market. 

Tailor made courses are designed to help hotels reach maximum efficiency and profitability, from investing in staff to retaining them, from reservations to check out procedures, from dress to business etiquette and much more.
