WORLDHOTELS are using new tailor-made IFH training programme 

WORLDHOTELS has launched new training modules as part of its global tailor-made training scheme to help member hotels to increase  revenue and profit by keeping up with market trends according to the motto "Invest.Learn.Grow".

“In today’s fast-moving commercial environment, with complex, flexible rate structures being offered through multiple sales and distribution channels, finding the right training resources can be a major challenge,” says Wilhelm Weber, the hotel group’s global trainer. This is why we bonded with IFH® in order to customize our programs for our hotels.

Working in conjunction with IFH®, one of Europe’s leading hotel training organisations, WORLDHOTELS has devised a multi-module training scheme, with courses being held in key cities around the world such as New York, Miami, Frankfurt, Brussels, Hong Kong and Singapore.

Topics covered by the new training modules include Yield and Revenue Management, Sales and Reservations in addition to the current offer featuring CRS (Central Reservation System), Nexus RFP tools and Reporting.

“The WORLDHOTELS courses focus on the specific needs of our member hoteliers,” says Weber. “Too many courses adopt a ‘one size fits all’ approach, which often raise more questions than they do answers. Our modules, based on our own management tools and systems, are specifically designed to increase the knowledge base within our hotels, and to provide hoteliers with a rapid return on training investment.”

Christian Fiederer, WORLDHOTELS’ Vice President for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, adds: “The hotel industry both benefits and suffers from a high level of staff turnover – people move onwards and upwards much more quickly than in other sectors – and hoteliers need to make the most of their training budgets. Because it has been created specifically for our members, a WORLDHOTELS training should pay for itself within three to six months.”

The first round of courses – which complements WORLDHOTELS regional, on-site, and online training programmes – starts in New York in July, followed by trainings in Frankfurt and Hong Kong in August.
